Today I am sharing a card with you that was designed by my granddaughter Amanda. I was helping her with her children and therefore didn't have much time for desigining cards for my group. She offered to design a card to help me in return.
Now on to her card..... she used the rose and verse from Happiness Shared and the humming bird from Elements of Style.
The card stock used was Appricot Apeal and Close to Cocoa which are both discontinued BUT there are current colours close to them that could be used.
All of the stamping and sponging on the edges was done with Chocolate Chip ink. She added a soft pink half pearl to the center of the rose as you will see a close up in the second photo. There is also a little crystal added to the birds eye.... which was suggested by one of the gals in class.
Hope you enjoy her card. Thanks for dropping in again.

Soft Colours for Spring
Ohhhh I was so pleased to see that I have 2 new followers that signed up this weekend. Thanks so much for joining.
I am going to have to set aside some goodies for a draw when I reach the 100th follower.
This card was started for a colour challenge at Color Throwdown and then I will also add it to Make it Monday as we are able to post anything we have made that we would like to share to inspire others.
I thought of spring or summer when I saw the list of colours we had to work with soooo this is what I came up with.
Hope you like it enough to give me a little sugar by adding a comment ....or better yet...why not click on follow to come and follow me.
The colours required to work with were Baja Breeze So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz.
I used the Pear Pizzazz for the card base then the fist mat is So Saffron. I then used Very Vanilla to emboss using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and then sponged some Early Expresso to highlight the embossed parts.
The only Baja Breeze on this card is the small blue flowers.
I stamped the butterfly from the SU set called Elements of Style with Early Expresso and cut it out then used demensionals to pop it up.
Let me know what you think.

Clean And Simple
This is a card I made for a challenge.... it had to be clean and simple and the only tool you could use was the cuttlebug.
I stamped the background with Basic Grey then stamped the images with black and of course then I ran it through the cuttlebug.
It sure is a very quick, simple and clean card to make. I think it took me all of 10 or 15 minutes to do. I would have loved to embelish it more but had to quit right there. LOL
Let me know what you think of it. I do love to hear from you.
Supplies:
Cardstock SU Black and white.
Stamps: SU Just Believe & Elements of Style
Inks: SU Basic Grey & Black
Embossing folder: SU Lattice
This qualifies for Clean & Simple at Stamping Vacation

A simple card with 4 looks
Today is another busy day for me but after I got home from walking my dog I decided to try a very simple card.
This is a layout that I have used for a lot of occasions and have found that it can be dressed up a little more or just left clean and simple.
When I am making a card I lay things out and play with it before I glue anything down.
Now just to let you know I am away from home with all my stamping supplies soooo I just work with what I have and I didn't have any buttons so I just punched out 3 little circles to look like buttons or brad or what ever. It will just give you the idea.
This is the clean and simple look that took all of 5 minutes to do.
Now this next one I added a thin piece acroos the bottom area to ground it.
Then I though ok how about some buttons... which I didn't have so I punched out some circles to represent the buttons.
Now I thought I would try adding the strip back on to see what it would look like.
Well.... that is what I came up with this morning. Hope you enjoyed this.
PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know what you think and which one you like the best.
The white stamped strip is cut 1 3/4 X 5 1/2
The Cajun Craze mat is cut 2 X 5 1/2
The butterfly square is cut 2 1/4 X 2 1/4
The Cajun Craze square is cut 2 1/2 X 2 1/2
The thin strip is 1/4 X 4 1/4
Supplies:
Cardstock, SU River rock, Cajan Craze and white.
Embossed with SU Lattice embossing folder.
Stamps: Elements of Style and Just Believe.
