I just saw this new sketch and just had to give it a try. I played around with two colours and ended up making two cards from them...... so you can see what a difference colour can make.
I made the first one using SU Daffodil Delight as I was thinking Easter card and I think it looks very cheerful and spring like..... and my friends up north sure want spring to come soon. LOL
The second one I did in SU Rose Red .....just because I have been using a soft pink too much lately and I need a change.
I think this makes a clean and simple card too.
Now take a look at both and let me know which one you like the best. I always love the input.
OK here are the cards. Hope you like them....I love this sketch and will use it again for sure.
Yellow first....just because I did this one first.
And now the Rose one.
I hope you are finding something on my little blog to inspire you ...even if it is just a small thing you see that you can use.
Have a happy carding day.
Carolyn

This kind of post is my favorite! I absolutely love to see what a difference just a little detail might do, in this case, the color. The colors give these cards such different feels - I like the vibrant yellow of your first one, so summery and cheerful. Whereas your second card is more of the sweet and girlie type. I like them both! I'm returning your visit from MIM.
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards Carolyn, the colours give them a totally different look - if I had to choose it would be the yellow one for me. Carol x
ReplyDeleteA lovely card, beautifully designed. Thanks for joining in at Make My Monday this week.

Fab card Carolyn, love the layout and although I'm not a pink girl it is my favourite:)

You have been busy, Carolyn! Love your cards, and the pretty images!
ReplyDeleteI love them both, but I think the pink seems to pop a bit more (at least on the screen) ... great example of how a small difference changes the look of a design.
ReplyDeleteI think the yellow makes a good spring colour. They are both very delightful cards. Any one would love to find one of these cards in the mail. Dianne C

Hi Carolyn
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can gather the reader is going to disappear from the dashboard all together on the 1st of July so you would lose all the blogs you're following.
With bloglovin you can import all the blogs with a press of a button now before they disappear!
Once all your blogs are there you can sort them into groups too which makes things a lot more manageable if you're following lots of different blogs.
Hope that helps. Carol x
Both cards are absolutely DARLING!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at PDE "Anything Goes" Challenge.
