I haven't had time to post anything lately as when I arrived home I found that EVERY mouse in Wellington County must have moved in while I was gone PLUS my granddaughter who lives downstairs told me their fireplace down drafted into my place a few times and set off the carbon monoxide detector alerting them sooooo every surface in my house is covered in soot from the smoke!
I have been washing the cupboards and walls to get the mouse droppings cleaned up then using Vim to scrub the smoke stain away. I am still going to have to clean all the carpets and wash the curtains to try to get rid of the smoke smell.
Think of me while I wade through this mess. LOL This is what I found on the counter behind my little TV...... the cuboards were MUCH worse!!!!
PLEASE be patient and don't forget about me. I will be back to posting as soon as I possibly can.

Another offset one
You have likely seen me mention that I have a monthly challenge (while I am away for the winter) with a little group that I have a home so they won't forget me. LOL It lets me feel connected to them and not so far away. Well I try to do more than one card for each challenge so this is another one for them. It also qualifies for Stamping Vacations colour combo for this month too.... sooo 2 birds with one stone so to say.
Oh I found some buttons BUT only 2 match so I didn't glue them down. I will find some that match when I get home.
Here is the card. Hope you leave a comment.....I love hearing from you.

Clean And Simple Daffodil Card
I haven't been on here for a few days as I am now in the packing stage of returning home. Just think... I will soon be home in my stocked craft room again. LOL I will try to post something for the next few days over the weekend but then I will be absent for a week or so.
Tonight I am showing you an Easter card that you can whip up in about 10 minutes.
Please let me know what you think. I do love to hear from you.
I used a white card base then cut a mat of Certainly Cerlery. I then cut another piece of white and embossed it for some interest. I cut out the Certainly Celery shape and embossed it too then stamped the daffodils and coloured.
Like I said.....VERY clean and simple card.

Lattice Card
Well I didn't get done as soon as I thought I would as today seemed to be a day for company dropping in.... which I love by the way.
I started off cutting a lattice to fit in a frame and then didn't use that part at all. I didn't want to waste the rest of the lattice so I ended up playing with it...the part headed for the garbage pail.
Sorry about the colour....they are really white.
I had the frame all glued together and then looked at the piece on the left that was going to the garbage and thought "I know I can use that too" and then I was off on a different track. LOL Does this happen to you too?
Well this is what I made from the piece that was destined for the garbage pail.
Now all I have to do is figure out something for the piece on the right that I was supposed to be working with. LOL
I am not very pleased with how the colours are showing up, I guess I am going to have to find better lighting for when I take the photos.
Supplies;
Cardstock: SU Lavender Lace, So Saffron & white.
The card base is Lavender Lace
Yellow mat is So Saffron cut at 3 1/4 X 4 1/2
Lavender Lace mat is cut at 3 1/8 X 4 3/8
White to stamp is cit at 2 7/8 X 4 1/8
I hope you enjoy this card. I will try to have the one that I really wanted to do, finished for tomorrows post..... but don't hold me to it. LOL

I tried.
I made a promise to myself that I would try my best to post a new card EVERY day and here I am short already. LOL .... Well I do have a good reason (I think anyways). I was out for the whole day yesterday shopping with some friends and therefore I was soooo tired when we finally got home that I didn't even head to my craft desk.
I will be posting a card today for sure but it will be later in the afternoon......I am working on a couple of things right now.
Hope you check back in later.

Off set focal point
Boy we had a bad storm here yesterday. There were tornados just south of here but we only had the skies dump rain on us like you wouldn't believe. It looked like a river running through my yard and it flooded the one end of mine and the neighbour behind me. I was ready to run for the closet with my dog and purse and hunker down if I had to.
After everything kind of calmed down I got down to business and started on another card to post. This one is for a challenge with a little web group at home that I started. We have been doing a challenge every month while I have been away for the winter and it kind of keeps us in touch.
I am going to name this challenge "Off Set Focal Point" and this is the card that I came up with.
First I gave them a lay out and said the only rule was that they had to have an off set focal point and it could be a rectangle like the sketch or an oval or a square. From there they could do as little or as much as they wanted. They could embelish it anyway at all, as long as they had an off set focal point.
Here is the sketch I sent have sent to them.
Now here is what I came up with. And don't laugh...I am still buttonless but I am getting used to these punched dots now.
Supplies:
Cardstock: SU Melon Mambo, white & scrap of grey?
Inks: SU Melon Mambo & Basic Grey.
Stamps: SU En Francais & Friends Never Fade.
My measurements:
Card base Melon Mambo
White stamped mat cut at 4 X 5 1/4
Melon Mambo mat cut at 2 1/2 X 3 3/4
Grey mat cut at 2 3/4 X 3 1/2
White stamped cut at 2 1/2 X 3 1/4
