Christmas Card from class

Good morning to each and every one of you that have peeked in. I appreciate your dropping in to see what is new.

I am posting another Christmas card ....and yes one of you said it was too early for these BUT I teach a class each week while I am here for the summer and the gals always want to do one Christmas card per week along with the others sooooo please bear with me.

While I am away during the winter I keep in touch with these gals via a little group site that I set up so we can chat back and forth and we decided to do a monthly challenge and post our cards to the group to share with each other.

Now if they look very close they will see that this card is actually one from .... I think ....the very first challenge we did. I just didn't post it to the group as I was trying to build up a stock to do each week. LOL

Sooooo I think you will be getting a Christmas card posted here each Thursday after the class.

Ok here is the card I did. I hope you don't mind Christmas in June too much and you like what I came up with.

Supplies
Card base is Bravo Burgundy
Pattern paper from local store is cut 4 x 5-1/4
Small mat is Bravo Burgundy cut at 2-3/4 x 4-3/4
Small white square is cut 1-3/4 x 1-3/4
Always Artichoke is cut 3 x 3
White oval is 3 x 2-14
I Used some glossy accent on the berries to shine them up too.
Stamps I used were from a set called Bells & Boughs

Check in next Thursday for another Christmas card. LOL  Maybe even make a few so you are ready early this year.

  1. This is a lovely card, Carolyn. And I think it's a wise idea to make Christmas cards early in the year. That reduces the stress later in the year.
It made me feel good to know you'd missed me in blogland! =) It's good to be back.

  5. Hi Carolyn, this one is lovely, I love the colours and I like the sentiment tucked in under the image.
The card draws your eyes to each detail. I'm one of Shirley's pals on her challenge and have made my 50. Yeah! I've also checked out e-bay for that See-D's set you mentioned, not there but I did buy a couple of others LOL,
