A simple card for my grandson

So glad you stopped in to see what I am doing.
I hope you like what you see and will come back again.

I have all kinds of girly cards for my granddaughter to pick from for when she goes to a birthday party but not many for my grandson sooo I decided I would try and do one for him.

I seem to have a hard time making guy cards, even little guy cards but here is my attempt.

I used SU Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake. I embossed both the Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake with the SU Lattice embossing folder which is my all time favorite of embossing folders.

Here is what I came up with.

  1. LOVE the texture, Erin! What a perfect card for a boy! The baseball images are the perfect touch! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!

  2. Fabulous Carolyn! Perfect masculine card and the embossed layers work well with the sketch! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Players.

  3. Great boy card---I agree, the boys get short-changed in the stamping world! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!

  4. Little guys cards are hard, but I think you did an excellent job with this one. Thanks for joining the Paper Players this week. :)

  5. Great boy card-perfect combination of colors, sketch and elements!! Thanks for playing along with us at the ColorLab!!

  6. I love this one and I know that your grandson would like it to

  7. I think this is just perfect as a little boy card. Thanks for joining us at the ColorLab!
